Meaning now locked away forever
With the death of a friend
As In a memory, Forgotten
Languishing to a point of no concern
A moment shared with a friend, who is no more
And then somehow, forgotten
Incidental cast away
Beach Littering detritus of life
Common as leaves in the grass
Uncommon as a fossil record
At least in terms of the shear volume
OF those who have gone before us
Staring through an eyeball
Into the depths of the other-side
