At times I see
What it is to be
Without want or need
Of another
Yet that which I see
Is perplexing me
It is in want and need
That we smother
As I hold her so dear
In my mind it is clear
Just exactly how long
Forever can be
We sojourn forever
This journey is never
Without want or need of another
Though apart we are one
Like the light from our sun
Some pain driven years
Have given depth to our tears
Teaching of want and of need and of other
